How to Use This Tool
The tier list opens on the Solo ranking so you always see data immediately. Four tabs — Solo, Trio, Duo and Beginner — switch between modes without reloading, and the URL keeps your mode so you can share a direct link to the Duo list.
- Step 1 — Pick your mode: Solo, Trio, Duo or Beginner.
- Step 2 — Read the grade and the one-line reason for each class.
- Step 3 — Check the trust label and Last Verified date before relying on the ranking.
- Step 4 — Open View Class Guide for the class you want to play.
- Step 5 — Take the Class Quiz for a personal recommendation.

Each row shows one of the 6 classes with a letter grade from S to D, a one-line reason, and a trust label. Tap View Class Guide on any row to jump into that class's full guide.
What the Rankings Mean
S is the strongest class in that mode, D the weakest. A class that is S-tier in Solo can drop several grades in Trio because group play rewards role coverage over self-sufficiency. The reason column explains the placement so you can see why the ranking changed between modes.
- S — best-in-mode, reliable and hard to counter
- A — strong pick, slightly more situational
- B — playable, needs the right comp or route
- C — niche, rewards specialists
- D — weakest in this mode, usually needs a patch to compete

Grades are relative within the mode, not absolute power scores. Duo is the only ranking on this site that covers two-class combinations, because Duo has no official matchmaking and most sites skip it entirely.
How We Rank
Rankings combine class strength with role coverage for the mode. Solo favors survival and kill speed, Trio favors a balanced frontline/DPS/support core, Duo favors complementary two-class pairs, and Beginner favors ease of use and survivability.

Each ranking is based on community reports and re-verified after major patches. If a patch changes the meta before re-verification, the page is marked Needs Update rather than showing a stale Verified date.
Frequently asked questions
What is the Mistfall Hunter tier list?
It ranks all 6 classes from S to D across four modes: Solo, Trio, Duo and Beginner. S is the strongest in that mode, D the weakest. Each ranking shows trust labels and a last-verified date.
How often is the tier list updated?
The tier list is re-verified after major patches and marked Needs Update if a patch changes the meta before re-verification. Check the Last Verified date at the top of the page.
Why is the Duo tier list exclusive to this site?
Duo has no official matchmaking in Mistfall Hunter, and most other sites only cover Solo and Trio. We built a dedicated Duo ranking from community reports so two-player teams have a reference.
Which class is the best in Mistfall Hunter?
There is no single best class — it depends on mode and playstyle. Use the Solo, Trio, Duo or Beginner tier list for your mode, then take the Class Quiz for a personal recommendation.
