Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Mistfall Hunter Tools ("we", "our", "us", operated at mistfallhunter.co) is an unofficial fan resource for the game Mistfall Hunter. We provide free, anonymous decision tools and guides. We do not sell user data.

2. No Account, No Personal Data Required

You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide your name or email to use the tools in this version of the site. We do not operate server-side user accounts.

3. Browser-Local Processing and Tool-State Storage

Tool inputs and results (for example, class quiz answers, tier list filters, checklist items, build drafts, and squad combinations) are processed in your browser. To make the tools useful between visits, some tools may store anonymous tool-state data in your browser's localStorage (for example, the Extraction Checklist at /checklist saves which objectives you have checked so your progress persists across visits). Tool data only, no PII — no personally identifiable information is stored in that tool-state data; it contains only the tool's own progress markers, draft selections, and similar non-identifying values.

We do not use localStorage for advertising, cross-site tracking, or profiling. Sharing features use the URL you choose to share; review a link before sending it to someone else.

You can clear browser-local tool data at any time through your browser settings (for example, Clear browsing data → Cookies and other site data or Site data), or by using an in-tool Reset control where a tool provides one.

4. Analytics

This site currently uses the following analytics services to understand aggregate site use and improve the tools and guides:

These four services load by default under the current US/English release decision; this version does not include a cookie-consent banner. We do not use analytics for advertising profiles and do not sell visitor data. To limit analytics, use your browser's privacy controls or a content blocker. You can also clear GA4 cookies through your browser settings.

5. Cookies and Preference Controls

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. GA4 may set the first-party analytics cookies described in Section 4. We do not currently provide an in-site consent or preference control; browser privacy controls and content blockers can block third-party analytics requests and clear cookies. If a future authorized release requires an additional notice or choice mechanism for a jurisdiction, we will add it before making that change.

6. Hosting and Infrastructure

The site is configured for Cloudflare Workers infrastructure. This version does not use a Cloudflare D1 database or R2 storage for site or tool data. Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the service under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not use that information to create user profiles or for advertising.

7. Children

This site is a gaming resource and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, do not send additional personal information through the site; use an available contact channel once one is confirmed operational.

8. Third-Party Services

The analytics services listed in Section 4 process analytics data under their own terms and privacy policies. We may add other third-party services in the future (for example, an email provider or payment processor). Before a new service is used to collect or process visitor data, this policy will be updated to disclose the relevant practice and available choices.

9. Retention

This site does not operate server-side user accounts. Browser-local tool data described in Section 3 remains in your browser until you clear it. Analytics retention is governed by the current configuration and policies of Plausible, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity, respectively. We will update this policy if our own data-retention practices materially change.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have privacy rights, including rights to know, delete, or opt out of certain sales or sharing of personal information. We do not sell user data. This version does not provide an account or dashboard for privacy requests because it does not operate server-side user accounts. If an operational contact channel is available, you may use it to ask a privacy question; this policy will be updated when new data practices or request channels require it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as features or data practices change. The Last updated date above will reflect changes.

12. Contact Availability

The planned privacy contact address is contact@mistfallhunter.co. Email Routing for that address has not yet been confirmed as operational. Do not rely on this address for time-sensitive requests or send sensitive personal information to it until an operational contact channel is confirmed. We will update this policy when contact availability changes.
