How to Use This Tool
The matchup matrix is a 6x6 grid with every class on both axes. Each cell is one class-versus-class matchup — click it to open the analysis panel for that fight.
- Step 1 — Choose Solo or Trio mode.
- Step 2 — Pick the class you play on one axis.
- Step 3 — Click the matchup cell against your opponent.
- Step 4 — Read the analysis: advantages, key skills and strategy tips.
- Step 5 — Open the PvP Guide for positioning and third-party play.

A Solo/Trio toggle switches the whole grid between modes. Matchup verdicts change between modes because a group fight plays differently than a duel: the same two classes can be a good matchup for one player but a bad one inside a three-man fight.
What the Analysis Shows
Each matchup panel explains who has the edge and why: what the favored class does well against the other, which skills matter most in the exchange, and the strategy tip that flips or preserves the matchup.
- Advantage — which class holds the edge in this matchup
- Key skills — the abilities that decide the exchange
- Strategy tips — how to play the favored or underdog side
- Pending cells — marked as pending community report, never fabricated

Some cells are still being collected. Those show a Pending community report note instead of a verdict — the data is labeled honestly rather than guessed.
Read a Matchup as Context
A matrix cell is a conversation starter, not a fixed verdict. Look at mode first, then consider distance, cover, cooldowns, squad roles, and the possibility of a third party. Solo and Trio can turn the same class pairing into different problems. Use the panel to identify one behavior to practice, such as holding range or saving an escape tool, then take that lesson into a real run. Community Report labels show where evidence is still being refreshed.
- Read the trust label before relying on data
- Choose one next action instead of every option
- Keep a fallback route or result path
Read full tactical context
Use the selected cell to prepare one concrete response instead of treating it as a prediction. For example, decide whether your first priority is denying a sightline, holding a cooldown for the exit, or letting a teammate initiate. The same pair of classes can play out differently when gear, terrain, or party coordination changes, so treat the label as community context rather than a fixed verdict.
How the Data Is Sourced
Matchup content is adapted from community reports and testing, labeled Community Report with a Last Verified date. Verdicts are reviewed after balance patches, and cells affected by a patch are re-verified before the label is refreshed.
